Weaving For VENDETTA

Director James McTeigue has cast Hugo Weaving in the title role for V FOR VENDETTA. Weaving is replacing Jame Purefoy.
The story centers on a mild-mannered woman who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as V, who ignites a revolution.
The film also stars Natalie Portman, Stephen Rea, Rupert Graves and Stephen Fry. Joel Silver and Andy & Larry Wachowski will produce.
