Weaving Takes Over Purefoy's Vendetta

Hugo Weaving has joined the Wachowski Brothers' and Joel SilverJoel Silver's production of action-thriller "V for Vendetta," starring opposite Natalie PortmanNatalie Portman. He'll play the title vigilante character known as V.Weaving replaces James PurefoyJames Purefoy, who left the production for undisclosed reasons. Pic's in production in Berlin with a Nov. 4 release by Warner Bros.
