Wedding Peach Details
Date: Wednesday, February 04, 2004While we've seen listings for the Wedding Peach releases coming up, especially with the first two volumes running 150 minutes each, little has been said about the box that's coming with the first volume. David Williams has posted some tantalizing tidbits about the series on the forums yesterday:
"Wedding Peach will be 10 discs if you buy them separately and 12 discs if you buy the two boxsets. Why 12 for the boxsets? Because each box comes with an extras disc which is only available with the boxes. That's 9 discs for the series and 1 disc for the OVAs." is what got the ball rolling from him about the series. Volume 1 and volume 6 are the two releases that will be the disc+box releases in addition to the disc only release. But each box set will come with an extras disc (hence the two boxes holding twelve discs total). But what's on those extras discs? Well, it looks like the series discs will only contain the clean opening and ending sequences, so here's what David went on to say about the extras discs:
"The first extras disc has an interview with the English VAs playing the three girls, original Japanese opening, from the Japanese LD set is the Love Angel Robo Wedding Peach short, Furil promo video, an interview with the Japanese cast and director. The second extras disc will be similar but I don't want to say what's there yet as it could change. As we get closer to it's release we'll post."
And it was fully confirmed that the ONLY way to get these extras discs is to get the box edition, which is pretty much the same formula we've seen in the past with their Robotech releases.
