Whedon Talks Future Horror Movie

There's two more Comic Con tidbits of information I'm going to publish from last weekend. One was direct pictures of the Mark One Iron Man Suit as it was displayed at the event (as opposed to the Mark One picture we have from the movie itself) that was taken from Maniac scooper Daforce. The other is this tidbit about Buffy/Serenity/Angel creator Joss Whedon.

Whedon was the Comic Con and addressed a few questions for fans:

1. There will be special edition super delux dvd release of SERENITY set with even more features.

2. When asked if there would be an ANGEL movie, he shot them down by saying...."Bones, Season 2"

3. He revealed his next movie. He's currently working on a horror movie with writer Drew Goddard (who is also writing the 1-18-08 monster movie with JJ Abrams). What does he feel about this horror movie that's currently called CABIN IN THE WOODS? He says "The horror movie to end all horror movies... literally."

And??? What? They can't shoot a movie during Boreanaz's summer hiatus??

I always like Joss' tongue in cheek way of promoting his stuff.
Let's not forget he also announced a 90 minutes Ripper movie(Giles from Buffy) on BBC.
Through covered words, he also implied a season 9 of Buffy with Dark Horse (after all, it was a DH presentation), meaning the current season 8 has an ending in bank and is not an ever going thing.

David Boreanaz makes no attempt to hide the fact that he's done with Angel. And since he has another TV show, he has no need to film an Angel movie durint the hiatus.

I love whedon, so I am sure whatever he has planned will be sweet, I've liked everything he's been involved in, right back to Toy Story.

Whedons my man.
Loved the old Buffy film and own it, just like the show.Though some of the things he was planing isn't being done. This Ripper film with Giles doesn't seem to be happening nor the Spike mini series that he annouced.
As of Angel, David could do it if he did everything right. Keither Sutherland is still making films. Just hop from one project to the next, it may burn him out but I'm sure David can do it if he really wanted to.

I like whedon too, but I'm not a horror movie fan, so I'm disappointed.

and what they cant make a buffy movie or another serenity movie whe have to get another cabin in the woods type movie -- where abunch of coeds go to drink and have fun till theres a crazy mutant, evil spell from the book of the dead, or jsut plain crazy rednecks stalking them to eat them type movie ... blah blah blah -- and he pulled out of wonder woman

And I forgot who said it, but a "Buffy", "Angel", or another "Serenity" movie wouldn't bring in more fans, so much as just disappoint current ones.

I'm sure he wants to move on to other things, too.

Also, everyone, take some time to proofread your comments. I mean, really, show some class.
