The first movie was like watching paint dry in the English countryside. Shouldn't be much of a stretch to make it more interesting. For those of you who don't know, the Wickerman is the Nick's real father.

Creepy trailer; hopefuly the best parts aren't in the trailer.

Interesting looking trailer hopefully this film is less grainy than the 1st film. But there was a nice nude dancing scene in the 1st film.

What was the first film?

This is a remake of the 1973 movie with Christopher Lee.

Is it too much to hope that by "The Wicker Man", this movie will feature scores of criminals being stuffed into a giant statue made of wicker, which is then set on fire?

Yes? No?

For a horror/suspense film, the lighting didn't seem right. Most of the scenes in the trailer appear to be rather bright.

Wicker is just a funny word.

Wicker. Say it out loud and try not to smile.

The Origial Wickerman was a wonderful film. I hope the remake does it justice.

I have to agree with post #9, the original Wickerman is a cool film. Christopher Lee is great in it, and the ending is pretty crazy. I guess if a film doesn't have explosions every couple of minutes, some people might get bored, but I really enjoyed it. I saw it a couple of months ago, it seems as though there was a lot of problems with the production company when it was released so it wasn't as commercially successful.
