Jarrod, dude, X-men Last Stand? She`s been in much better movies than that. Rushmore, the 6th Sense, etc. Anyway, this Dollhouse show sounds pretty damn cool. Unfortunately , since its on FOX and its Joss Whedon, we`ll only get like 11 episodes before it gets canceled. Damn you FOX!
So is Tahmoh Penikett leaving BSG?

11... wow your optomistic. I give 7 eps and not shown in the order that Joss intended.

Oh yeah and the two hour pilot will be the 2nd and third ep aired.

Damn you FOX

BSG is ending pony. I think he's just keeping himself a steady gig.
Enough w/the Firefly flashbacks! I'm about to crawl into a little ball under my desk here muttering "I don't care, I'm still free".

I think 7s optimistic they'll play three and we'll have to go on the net to watch the other four which they'll have pulled in favor of a House rerun. At least that's what they did with Drive.

Hey, don`t know House. I love that show.
Well, yeah, that`s true and it not like the other BSG people haven`t been on other shows. The Chief has been on like 6 or 7 different shows. Reaper, Smallville, etc.

I give Dollhouse a secondary episode played first, out of order, and then the time switched for the third episode, delayed for some sporting events for a few more weeks, and then cancelled before the last 3 episodes are aired, also out of order.

Just upping the ante on what Fox did to Firefly and mixed in with what it constantly does to Bones.

This sounds like a total piece of $#!+ that I've seen at least a half-dozen times before!

I would say it's a little like The Island, but hardly shite. And Merin I think your being optimistic. Pilot is aired and show will be cancaled. Though I think this sounds like a cool show.

I almost wonder if Fox execs have multi-million dollar side-bets going on how many times they can trick Whedon into making a show for them, just so they can prevent the competition from possibly benefiting from his ideas YET they themselves don't really like what he does.

Big enough money bets that they can waste the cash for pilots and 3 episodes or such.

"Hey, Arvid, I bet we can get one more pilot out him. This time we cancel the show before the second episode airs!"

"No way, Tom, he won't come back this time! You're on!"

No...no, no...you guys have got it all wrong???!!! Joss Whedon will make a great two pilot for Doll House...first, then Fox will say that it is not good enough...then demand a least one cast member be replaced and that a 2nd, more action packed, pilot be shot. Joss will do their bidding...but then they'll remind him that there is already a show called House on Fox so they'll demand a title change...like, Playing With Dolls or something? That's when they'll air the shows out of order...tell Joss to shut-up...and then pre-empt the show as much as possible before moving it to a new time and day, because they want to expand the airings of American Idol. The show will be cancelled after airing only 10 episodes and 3 of those episodes will never air on network tv--but have faith Whedonites, it's not over yet!!! Universal will buy the movie rights to the series after it becomes a fan favorite on DVD. The film will come out, failing to receive proper promotion by Universal, it'll only make 10 million dollars in its opening weekend. The movie will be viewed as a box office flop...but it will be re-found by audiences through word of mouth, DVD, and repeat showings on cable and satellite television. Fans will then demand that Fox turn it into a TV show once more...while demanding that Universal continue making Doll House (aka Playing With Dolls) movies. In the meantime, Joel Silver will once again announce Joss as the director of Wonder Woman: The Movie and take it away from him yet again, right at the last minute...just for the hell of it!!! And after the flop of the Spy Kids inspired movie version of Speed Racer, The Wachowski Brothers will make a Spy Kids inspired version of Battle Of The Planets, which will also flop. Then after claiming that he will never work with Fox again...Joss Whedon will be offered yet another show from Fox. He'll take the deal, as usual, and this whole thing will start all over again...like the movie Groundhog Day. Different series...same shit!!! You gotta admit, although he has made great television, Joss Whedon's off screen life, being constantly stabbed in the back by the industry, is better than a TV show...even better than his own series???!!! Now, Joss ought to make a series out of that...but if he does, he'll get screwed in the end, by the industry, as always!!! Damn you Fox!!!
