Williams Thanks World Con

Concerning his roles as the 2002 World Con writer guest-of-honor, Toastmaster, and Hugo Award host, Tad Williams gave the following humble remarks: "In our business [i.e. entertainment] there's a standard phrase that says 'it's a honor just to be nominated.' That's definitely true, but it's also an honor just to be up on this stage for any reason. I'm overwhelmed and thankful to World Con for the chance I have to be here tonight."
