I'm excited for X-Men because it is the X-Men but I would never ever have let Singer return. I thought 1 was just ok, the most popular team book in the planet and this is what he turned out? Part 2 was better mostly cause adapted one of the best stories and he still didn't do it justice IMO. Part 3 by Ratner I actually enjoyed more than part 1, and perhaps because there was a lot mayhem and eye candy by an already ruined franchise, IMHO

It's strill spoilerish revealing who that new Red Hood was even though it was like 5 years ago, sheesh.

I'm really looking forward to Kick Ass, it just looks good

@shac2846

Thanks for the SPOILER dude! I've been away from comics for a few years and had no idea who was the new Red Hood.

Keep it classy, Spoiler Man. Keep it classy.

I honestly don't remember X2 other than the opening with Nightcrawler. That's because it was pretty much the most action we saw in both X1 and X2 combined. Oh wait, now I remember...the one with Stryker and Jean Grey at the end...yeah. Um, Singer should have gone back to making indie films. We need more Favreaus on Marvel movies and a lot less Singers, Johnsons, and Leterriers.

As for DC animated, I'd rather see an animated Red Son rather than something that came from Judd "My writing is so bad that DC had to bring Hal Jordan AND Barry Allen back from the dead to save the two series I was working on from cancellation" Winick. But maybe I'm wrong.

And Samson, the Red Hood identity has been out there since 2003. Six years is more than long enough to make it spoiler free. Here's another spoiler, the chick in the movie The Crying Game? She's a guy. Here's another; in The Sixth Sense, Bruce Willis' character is a ghost. Oh yeah, and Darth Vader is the father of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia (who are twins!).

Who was it that found out about Batman: Under the Red Hood first? Oh, that was me! As modest as I am, I still hope they do the Teen Titans: Judas Contract. I would love to see how DC/Warner would animate George Perez's work.

Kick Ass: Believe it or not though i was doubtful at first the trailers I have seen have won me over I'll see this one.

Batman under the hood: I'll rent it when it comes to blockbuster

Phantom: Dont really care about this one.

Red: I'll wait for a trailer to comment on this one

X-men: Oh boy another Prequel movie. I'll see this but I'll proably end up renting it.

@Samson, Not really a spoiler...I mean it's been YEARS since it was revealed. I'm sure WHo's under the mask will not be the major plot of the story

SONYMANswallows 12/20/2009 4:33:33 PM

Mask of the Phantasm needs to be remade into what it really is

Batman YEAR TWO: Batman and Joe Chill vs The Reaper aka Phantasm. Get Todd MacFarlane since he drew parts of it.

Batman: Under the Hood is gonna be Winick's Jason Todd story. Holy crap. That.. is.. awful. This is one animated feature I will be avoiding like the plauge. Wonder how they will explain his ressurection. They can't use the incredibly stupid Infinite Crisis Ssuperboy retcon punch. My goodness. Of all the good stories DC has, they choose this turd? Hell, maybe even Hush was better than this crap. Argh. Crap like this makes me want to put on a red lantern ring. Hell, as much as the Batman books are my favorite, it's about time DCU animated gave the character a rest and ventured to their many many other good characters.
