Wolverine is back in a big way for 2009.

First up his new toon show 'Wolverine and the X-Men' debuted in the U.S. on NickToons Network last Friday (check out our review of the season opener).

This week he also shows up on the 'Hulk Vs' DVD double-feature (check out tons of coverage of that DVD here).

And, of course, the big-budget 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' feature film is due out this May (lots of coverage of that here).

So to kick off the year of the wounded wolf we're giving you a chance to own Wolverine, son.

Well, not the man himself. Just his likeness in this recent-model Toy Biz action figure.

Toy Biz X-Men Classics Wolverine figure (with Sentinel Attack Action)

From the 2004 X-Men Classics line, this is "Wolverine with Sentinel Attack Action!". It's a new sculpt figure based on the burly Frank Quitely costume design with the black and yellow leather jacket, worn with out a shirt. This one's even got painted-on chest hair action! He's not just manly. Wolverine is also nimble with 32 points of articulation.

Also included in the bubble card is a Sentinel drone. This smallish version of the mutant hating robot is made to fly into pieces when Wolverine's springy slash-action impacts with it's head. What could be cooler than that?

We've got one action figure to pass along to a lucky Maniac.

How do you win?

Well, The Wolverine is the best he is at what he does, and what he does isn't very nice. Your task, dear Maniac, is to tell us your specialty. What is that thing, nice or not,  that you're the best at?

Post your answer in the comments below.

We'll give everyone a week to jump in then we'll choose one winner at random. The winner will be announced here on Feburay 2nd and notified via private message on the Mania.com message boards.

The Question is what I'm not good at.

darkheart00 1/26/2009 5:06:07 PM

Yes, it's a race....Toybiz and Playmates are neck and neck for worst toy company on the planet.

That horrible looking Wolverine just re-affirms it. Wolvie needs a rubber band, a cherry bomb and a quick but violent trip to meet his maker.

Oh yeah, the contest.....um,  I'm good at brow-beating toy companies I don't like ;)
