Winona Ryder is SPOCK'S Mother

Vulcan Mother of Spock?? Spock's Mom was Human...Amanda if I remember the character's name correctly...played by Jane Wyatt...so if she is Vulcan in the new timeline...are they going to switch it up and make Sarek a Human?

It does seem a bit strange. Perhaps, Paramount and Abrams are doing away with the half-human aspect of Spock.

Or maybe in their rush to "break" this casting news Variety forgot to check out all of the other facts.

Sarek had serveral wifes. Was there by any chance at leat one Vulcan stepmother for Spock? Maybe the 'Vulcan' before 'mother' is only a mistake by the reporter.
