This trailer debuted over the weekend. Those involved in the film can deliver, but it borders on being a cheesy novel/ movie. What do you think Maniacs? Perhaps this is one to take the ladies to over the holiday?
Synopsis: Set in a mythic New York City and spanning more than a century, "Winter's Tale" is a story of miracles, crossed destinies, and the age-old battle between good and evil.

The film stars Colin Farrell ("Total Recall"), Jessica Brown Findlay (TV's "Downton Abbey"), and Oscar® winners Jennifer Connelly ("A Beautiful Mind"), William Hurt ("Kiss of the Spider Woman"), Eva Marie Saint ("On the Waterfront") and Russell Crowe ("Gladiator"). "Winter's Tale" also introduces young newcomers Ripley Sobo and Mckayla Twiggs (both from Broadway's "Once").

Winter's Tale arrives February 14th, 2014.

Looks interesting enough.

You lost me at Coin Farrell...

And cheesy...

Though I think the two kinda go hand-in-hand...

I did like him in In Brouges though.  That was a decent flick...

All that aside, it does look kinda interesting.  Maybe something I'll go see after I've seen everything else I want to.  Or wait for Netflix.

Although it doesn't look entirely horrible, I will say that I am glad to have married a woman who hates Colin Farrell and chick flicks in general.

This kind of movie is the only way I can get my girlfriend to watch anything "fantastical."  It has to have some cheesy stupid love story in it or she just falls asleep in 5 minutes.  As if The Notebook is real life or something.  Some people have zero imagination.  This doesn't look bad but it'll be a rental.

XeroWarp 11/11/2013 7:41:54 AM

 RedBox and i'll probably cry.

 This is netflix worthy.

Yeesh! What a Chick Flick.

Yes... the things we do for the women that we love. I'm sure I'll be taking my lovely bride to see this when it comes out.
