I can imagine revenge stories going down with a premise like this, gang wars, sports rivalries! this could be a tv series!!
Pretty insane concept but oh so intriguing too! I might actually go and see this in the theatre, I don't go for films like this anymore but this one looks pretty interesting
I've had my reserved seats for almost a month now and GAWDAMN I'm so excited for this movie!! Exactly one week from today and I'll be watching THE BEST SUPERMAN MOVIE EVER or from here on out now known as Man of in your face Laz Steel!
Zilla......so jealous dude......and.......that's the 5th time I've tried to motorboat your avatar and ended knocking my monitor off the desk.........fuck.......
I too think the power goes off in next season's premiere, it likely becomes the only way they know how to stop the nukes from falling on Atlanta and Philly, and yeah they are nukes for sure, they don't bury conventional warheads in farm field silos.
This is a great episode from a show that really turned on the juice in the second half to earn its place as one of the best new shows of the season!
I'm really looking forward to next season!
Haha yeah SC that's a funny little fact hey? I actually found that out back in 2007 when the song came out cuz I got a little curious about Lily Allen and did some reading on her and her famous family. Their father is Keith Allen, a well known actor/singer/entertainer in the UK and their mother is a film producer.
This episode was awesome, I've read the books and I was eager to see how they do the whole finale of this season. So far so good, but there is still a lot left to cover and it's gonna be fucking crazy!!! The red wedding had all the impact of the pages and it was pulled off with brilliant suspense and terrifyingly gory efficiency. Man what a story!!!!
They aren't done yet..........
They really should see if Nicholas Meyer is up to anything........he made the best 2 films of the original cast and JJ was pretty much trying to be him for the last 2 movies. I don't disagree with Cornish though, Attack the Block was pretty killer.....I'd watch his Trek.
The first one was a better trailer/idea than it was an acutal film for me.....it was just too boring. I get that he wanted to focus on the discovery aspect of a superhero, but it was painfully slow and never delivered any kind of excitement. Just my opinion.
I don't know what happened to MNS, but I think it's safe to say that he delivered his best on his first attempt and rather than look at him as a great filmaker who's follow-up efforts have lacked ever since his first, I'd say he was always a terrible filmaker who got really lucky on his first.........everything since has been more to his usual ability. How many more chances does a guy deserve?
Yup, these have sadly earned more and more at the box office while getting worse and worse as films. Is it even possible that this one might be good? ah fuck I don't know anymore.......
You're damn right I'm dreaming about a Superman movie that grosses a billion dollars globally!! I've found that in the past I've usually fallen in the group of people that likes a movie that does really well at the box office........as long as it's the type of movie I enjoy of course......ya know......not Twilight.......
Really Laz? 400million tops? is that domestic or global? I think if the buzz is accurate on this one then it'll hit 1billion for sure!
If superman were real, no amount of technology would be able to contain him for area 51 experiments, nor would they be able to extract a DNA sample from him to make a clone.....they tackled this in the comics way back in 1993 by using a retinal scan.....don't know if that would work.......oh yeah I guess Lex Luthor used a piece of his hair in that quest for peace movie......but again I don't think you'd be able to extract anything from his indestructable body.....fictional characters right? It's funny how we suppose.......

I totally disagree about the score, Hans Zimmer is a genius and is one of the few composers these days who actually knows how to write emotion into the music. His percussive sensibilites are second to none and that is incredibly important in films, a beat establishes a rhythm and flow. I haven't read anything that suggested he himself has downplayed his efforts on this film, rather that he cherished the opportunity to be a part of such an epic story and how daunting and exciting it was to follow in the footsteps of the the great John Williams who he considers to be the best of all-time! I think this score is incredible, one of his best works and I'm sure he's proud of it. He considered it a great challenge and put everything he had into it and I'm sure it'll add a huge element of suspense, anger, excitement and every other emotion to this movie.
The clips are awesome! I can't resist! the action is looking great!!
and I don't feel spoiled in any way at all!!
