WITCH found, search still on for LION and WARDROBE

SHREK 2 director Andrew Adamson told The Hollywood Reporter that he's found his White Witch of Narnia. Actress Tilda Swinton (ADAPTATION, CONSTANTINE) has landed the part of the fantasy land's evil sorceress in the upcoming THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE live action film scheduled to start filming this summer. Swinton is the first cast member to be confirmed for a role in the $100 million dollar fantasy project, a co-partnership between Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media.
