As night follows day, a new fan petition has been started following the cancellation of a genre show.

With word Wednesday that TNT's comic book-inspired WITCHBLADE had been cancelled comes news that a leading WITCHBLADE fansite has begun a petition to bring the show back for a third season. The cancellation of the hour-long drama hit many industry watchers and fans by surprise, given it was among the best rated shows ever produced by TNT, and according to a TNT decision-maker, it satisfied all the hopes they'd ever had for the series' performance.

As of now, there are some 3800 signatures on the save-WITCHBLADE virtual petition. For your own view, click on the source link above.
