Can we make it any clearer for your studio and TV execs? we want The Dark Elf Trilogy, period.

I've never picked up a Forgotten Realms book in my life and the only fantasy other then King I had was of course Tolkien's work, HarryPotter, Hitchhikers, & Star Wars books.. A friend gave me The Dark Elf Trilogy in late October when I was in a book reading rut with nothing new to go through... Since I read the Dark Elf Trilogy, I tore through everyone one of Drizzt's tales in the Legend of Drizzt series and I'm eagerly awaiting the newcoming Orc King(late 2007 release) storyline continuing... Just finished The Cleric Quintet series as well and I have to say this book based on Cadderly, Danica, Ivan & Pikel was also superbly written. Thanks Pat and Mark for the interview.

I guess a live action film would be too draining on Wizards." --mortellan Last I checked, WotC is not in the film production business as WWE and Marvel. *a brief condescending rolleye* Somebody approached them wanting to do an animated DRAGONLANCE film, and ... well, they're quick to say yes. So, it's really happening with Hickman's & Weis's help. Don't get me wrong. I too want it live-action, but I guess like LOTR it has to take baby steps.

i agree orion, and the fact that it's most likely going to be a combo of animation and cgi... it should definitely be worth checking out
