OK I've said already this is the least of the 4 solo superhero films this year but I've got to admit the anticipation and expectations keep climbing as it nears

violator14 5/3/2013 8:12:15 AM

HOLY SHIT!!! That shot of what i think was a gigantic Silver Samurai was pretty amazing. This trailer looked pretty dope compared to the other ones i must confess, and has me wanting to see this.

jedibanner 5/3/2013 8:39:14 AM

That silver Samurai looked like a robot...not sure....not too sure.

violator14 5/3/2013 8:52:30 AM

Oh ya, what was i thinking... OF COURSE Fox would turn the Silver Samurai into a robot. THe robot probably has Cyclops' powers too, and is Wolverine's long lost uncle.

AbeFroman 5/3/2013 9:17:12 AM

Prediction- this will not be very good.

Wiseguy 5/3/2013 9:29:35 AM

I'm actually going to predict the opposite. I think it will be good and basing it mostly on Mangold directing but I've also been digging what I'm seeing

jedibanner 5/3/2013 9:30:31 AM

I'm surprised they didn't make him the Red Samurai or the Green know...since ''as long it makes sense'' and all....

DarthBob 5/3/2013 9:59:37 AM

Knowing Fox, Silver Samurai is Wolverine who travels back through time from the future after he was infected with the techno-organic virus.  Then they'll spray paint him red, white and blue and call him Patriot Samurai.  He'll then have a son with Jean Grey and call him Cable.

The trailer looks cool.  I like Japan too and have been there many times; it will be interesting to see how many places I recognize.

I hope Silver Samurai is not a robot.  Please lord please.

FrozenFear 5/3/2013 10:28:49 AM

I sign off on violator14's theory, because it would fit the continuity of what ever the hell that other movie was trying to do.

And why do they keep feeling the need to put giant CGI shots in a movie about a man with metal claws who stabs people? We didn't need the motorcyle/helicopter scene in the last movie and we don't need a massive, horribly rendered explosion/train fight in this one. Save the big CGI for X-Men Origings: Storm/Cyclops/Jubilee. Actual characters that warrant huge displays of $10 effects.
