But for MySpace users only

The new trailer for 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' is running in theaters now with 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'. Fans who saw it got a glimpse of many of those proposed Marvel cameos in action, including Deadpool, The Blob, John Wraith and Gambit who gets a shout-out in the dialog and shows off some of his moves.

That's not to mention established-but-de-aged baddies like William Stryker and Sabretooth.

The official, high-def version is now online running exclusively on MySpace. The hi-def trailer is available only to registered users of MySpace who have also "friended" the X-Men Origins MySpace Page. However, we've got the lower-res (but still swell) Flash embed below.

The trailer leads fans to the newly launched X-MenOrigins.com website, which counts down to the movie.

Thanks to Antonello Blueberry for the submission.

Could be cool although I think I need to see the legit trailer before I can get too excited. To be honest this preview kind of makes it look a lot like Elektra in terms of lots superheroes/ mutants, little story. We'll see.

I wasn't wowwed by it.  In fact, as a few of the early commentors at AIn't It Cool pointed out -- it's got that cliché shot with Logan walking away calmly from an explosion.

In fact, with some comments Jackman made about being willing to walk away from the character if this isn't a huge hit, I don't think he has a high opinion on things either.  Wolverine really put him on the map (someone correct my memory:  wasn't Dougray Scott orginally cast for the role but he had to decline because of delays with Mission: Impossible 2?)...  But he's said in the past that he doesn't want to wear the Wolverine Wig forever.

Actually he said he would love to do another if he thought the fans wanted, ie. cash is made.  So I'd say you misquoted him.

As far as the trailer looks, I'm with kwsupes about wanting to see the real thing, but I disagree about the Electra comment.

Bring on the HATERS....are you haters never pleased? Comic movies (most of them) are meant to be perfect everytime. I watched the trailer friday night at the Day the earth stood still and I was getting CHILLS from it. Will this movie be perfect?...Prolly not...will it earn Hugh Jackman and Oscar?...Hell no..Will it be good? I have a good feeling its going to be great. But let the haters talk their trash and hear everyones holier then thou attitudes towards movie making until it comes out untill them i am going to be optimistic about it like everyone else should.

I think it looks cool as hell, seems to be much more grittier than the previous X-men movies...This trailer is a lot different than the comic con boot leg trailer which was a far better one and I hope they don't go with a disney pg-13 rating as apposed to a hard pg-13 rating because at the end of the comic con trailer Wolverine say...I am going to cut off your God Damn head, in this one he just says that I am going to cut off your head...IMO if they go soft with this movie in the end cut, it could hurt it to some degree...So here is hoping for the best...

Im also hoping for the best... but this trailer didnt give me any chills at all.

I am still looking forward to seeing Deadpool with his mask ON however. And i bet that Gambit scene is the only Gambit scene in the movie.

I haven't seen the trailer yet and don't want to. I have been excited about this film for nearly a year. Since I heard Hugh Jackman was producing, I had my hopes high that Fox would lay its grubby hands off this, including any idiotic, overly commercial decisions that might ruin it. Jackman's selection of a screen writer was the first good step and his selection of a director (Tsotsi which was over-rated politically-correct tripe, but still a foreign film!) gave me extra hope; the casting of that lousy actor from Van Wilder has me worried, but Liev Schrieber should be great!

I can't wait! Show the people behind X 3 how it's done, Mr. Jackman!
