This route could work. It also leaves it open for the mature WW to still be in movies. The only thing I'm worried about is the usual cutesy teenybopper gossip girl type of plotlines and shows that come from the CW. If this show goes through I'm hoping it will rise way above their usual fare. It deserves it.

Gina Carano has a fine ass period!

Starting this article with a "Boom!" just sounded ignorant.  It reminded me of my teenage daughter and her immature  friends acting like they are big $hit.

Mossy, in Trate's defense, he didn't write it.  He just copied and pasted it word for word.

So basically it'll be Smallville but with a female protagonist. Ok then, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .

Wiseguy 9/7/2012 3:28:28 PM

This shit makes no sense. Diana comes to man's worls a full grown woman. She has no alias at first so I just don't see this working.

Maybe they need to set it in Themyscira then we can see her develop into Wonder Woman the proper way.

This makes me wish the Adrianne Palicki tv version had been approved. At least she was an asskicker in that.

Ya wonder woman is near impossible to translate Well onto the live screen unless it's the 80's or it's porn

You're right about the challenges Violator and Wiseguy you also make a great point, not only is she introduced to the world of man as a full grown warrior woman, I'm actually convinced running with that concept is the only hope a successful wonder woman production would have. Basically, they really need to build up the "stranger in a strange land" idea; she doesn't know our customs, breaks hands when she shakes them, big viking belches at the table, basically a Thor type of character on earth. I'd say bury the idea of a competent Diana Prince identity and focus on the beast part inside the beauty. Not saying you can't do the other crap a few seasons or sequels down the line but I think actually using the Thor movie as a blueprint might not be a bad idea. Of course I like the idea of Thor's origin going like this: mild mannered doctor Donald Blake is bitten by a radioactive hammer and becomes THOR! Wait, I got it, Diana Prince, mild mannered liberal arts major gets bitten by a radioactive feminist and becomes Wonder Woman! Ain't radioactivity grand.

If WB is so dead set on there current path of making all there heroes non super and urban. Wonder Women story will be some rape victim, who gets hyped on a designer drug called Amazon, start body building and taking steriods... now its time for revenge. After the revenge she realizes she can help and empower other emo chicks.Or something corny like that sounds about right

Damn OmegaDean, I thought my idea was mysogenistic.  That sounds like the script for the next Crow movie.
