Cinemablend.com had an interesting piece on whether or not Wonder Woman was going to make an appearance in the Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman. At the recent Entertainment and Tech Summit, Greg Silverman, Warner Bros.’s president of creative development and worldwide production, addressed the possibility of Wonder Woman appearing in the sequel. “We have been doing a lot of thinking for years about how to best use all those characters and we love them,” Silverman said. “Wonder Woman is an amazing character. I think it’s a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero.” Which really isn’t an answer.
WB CEO Kevin Tsujihara had this to say about the Amazon Princess and whether or not she will get a solo film or appear in a large cast picture:

“We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that’s respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can. So everything that has been speculated are things that we’ve thought about.”

Tsujihara  then addressed casting Affleck in the role of Batman:

“We knew going in that we had more information than the general public had. We knew what the take of the movie was, we knew what the character was going to be. We don’t take these decisions lightly. We thought about everybody — brand new people, established people. Ben is the perfect guy to play this role.”

A whole lot of dodging and no real answers. These gentlemen would make great politicians.

Batman vs. Superman arrives July 17, 2015.

Pouahahahaha, Ben is the perfect guy for this....what a joke.

It would help to bring in WW in the next Superman movie, just say your doing it and be done with it.

If WW does appear hopefully it's not some stupid after credits scene like Sinestro putting on the yellow ring at the end of GL.  That was a ridiculous conclusion to an epically crappy movie.

I will say it over and over again.  All DC has to do is make a Wonder Woman movie that is like a cross between Thor and 300, and make it hard PG-13 like the Dark Knight movies.  NUFF SAID.

What Jedi said and then what Axia said....

Axia, that would be the perfect way to do a WW solo movie. Kind of an epic Xena Warrior Princess kind of thing.

I don't know if this is how they are planning it but I think DC's best bet is instead of Batman,Superman, Wonder Woman, Et Cetera solo movies is to just do DC Movieverse movies and pair and solo different characters as needed by the movie plot. Cram everybody together for a JL movie but you can do the World's Finest movie, then maybe WW & Superman next, then Batman, GL, and Flash together. Why must there be solo movies all the time? Other than Batman and Superman they haven't done very well.

Is there boobs in axia's idea cause if not then it fails :)

hanso 10/22/2013 10:52:04 AM

Monkey, in that case they should do Wonder Woman vs Aquaman.

If they are smart, WB will copy the Marvel Films blueprint and have Wonder Woman appear in a tag at the end of the film, this way they can either 1) Lead to a Justice League film based off that or 2) Launch the Wonder Woman film from there.

Now that the dust has cleared regarding Affleck, I'm going to give Ben the 'benefit of a doubt' and believe that with 10 years to hon his craft, he will bring an intersting take on the 'Dark Knight'. While I think that he will in no way EVER top, Christian Bale's portrayal of the character (CB will always be the quintesential Batman), I believe that he might be able to be on par with Micheal Keaton and can't be any worse than Kilmer or Clooney.

Very very interesting :)

Bring on DC.

Like cinemaman said about WW.

I can't freaking wait for this. Wonder Woman just needs to finally make it on screen

Let's not forget Aquaman DC
