The casting sheet for the Wonder Woman pilot has apparently been revealed, coming via MTV Splash Page and originally at the DC Women Kicking Ass Tumblr page here. The David E. Kelley production hasn't enamored fans so far with what little has been leaked out and talked about but there are some take-aways here that seem to be that it was rather spot on. Wonder Woman herself is set to be in her late twenties to early thirties and there's some potential for romantic issues to be involved as the piece for cop Ed Indelicato indicates.

[MYNDI MAYER] Female, open ethnicity, 30s. Publicist, Press Secretary and Wonder Woman’s confidant and nurturing best friend. Worldy and edgy. Just cast Megan Gale, the chick that was cast as WW for the failed JLA film. I thought she was about as spot on for WW as I've seen.

I still have mixed feelings over the sound of this. So WW now is a rich entrepreneur by day and a crime fighter by night. Sounds like too many other superheroes. I hope they don't downplay her Amazonian Goddess heritage too much

Hmmm, I was adamant that the leaked plot was bogus.  Now I'm eating crow.  This sounds awful.

Wow! I thought only Fox crapped on their comic properties.

Found out today (big rumour but makes sense since Fox craps on Marvel properties) that Havok in Mutant: First Class will be Cyke's dad, not brother.

So not sure what bigger epic fail in the comicbook live action news we have today.

O.M.F.G.  This just sounds AWFUL.  Seriously, reading this makes me want to watch the old "Birds of Prey" series and relish its incredible faithfulness (by comparison) to its source material.

Themysciera Industries is headed by a male CEO? How ironic. I still don't get why they call this Wonder Woman when it's not. It sounds like a horrible elseworlds comic. This is just Ally McBeal fighting crime.  I now appreciate Smallville a hell of alot more.

Check the comments again if you want to be sure but I said earlier Etta Candy (who's description is dead on) would be in it and she'd be a minority...

Anyway, Diana is really the only one that really (yes, I'm using the word twice, deal with it) must look a certain way. Sure, Steve (who's description is also dead on) better be white, African American or possibly Native American as an Asian or Indian Steve would crack me up too much...

I f I was writing the show, Henry Demeter would in reality be Hades or Ares but Ares isn't likely to use his sister's name as an alias...If he's acting CEO, what happen to the previous one? Hmmm?

Holy Crap! And I thought Smallville smelled bad. The worst thing about it though is that regardless of how bad it turns out to be, and we all know it will, it will be on tv for a long time.

We all need to swear right now that we will not watch the pilot in any shape for form. No DVR, no nothing, to be sure this doesn't do for WW what Smallville is doing to Sups.

TV Guide is reporting that Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night LIghts) is going to play Wonder Woman/Diana

"The charismatic stage presence of a rock star. A crime fighter. Also, a real woman who yearns to live a normal life"  NOOOOOOOOO :(  Especially the yearns to live a normal life part.

This has angst filled nonsense written ALL OVER IT!!!
