So here we are again, getting an actress who looks nothing like Mary Jane to play this role. Even picturing her with red hair, I can't imagine it. Would have preferred they find a gorgeous actual redhead to play the role. Am I to assume that she is going to the same high school considering how young she is? I was hoping they would get a knockout to play this role since that is how Mary Jane  was originally portrayed. I was hoping for someone like a Deborah Ann Woll or Kate Mara, both natural redheads.

I'm not saying she's unattractive, she's a cutie. But is she model material seeing as Mary Jane would have a career as a model? And how will she look as a redhead? She sort of has a Hayden Panettiere look to her as a brunette. I would have even suggested Molly Quinn who plays Nathan Fillion's daughter on Castle. She is a very pretty redhead with that girl-next-door look to her and she's still young enough to play a High School girl. I don't even think her commitment to Castle is that demanding.

She wouldn't have been my top choice but til I see her in the role I'll remain optimistic. She's cute but not drop dead gorgeous IMO which MJ really was.

I would've gone with Jane Levy personally.

 Well, since MJ is a super model in the comics...yeah, I'd say they needed a looker.

I could have done without MJ this film.  Newest rumor is that the bad guy is electro.
