World War Z Extended Clip

New TV Spot as well

Paramount Pictures has posted an Extended Clip and a new TV Spot called “Together” of World War Z. If Pitt’s Gerry Lane succeeds and saves the world, will that not negate the the trilogy they are hoping to build? So in short, Pitt probably isn’t going to save the world, is he?
The Plot: United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

World War Z is based on the Max Brooks penned book of the same name that tells an Oral History of the Zombie War.  The film stars Brad Pitt, Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, James Badge Dale, Mireille Enos, David Andrews, Elyes Gabel.

World War Z is directed by Marc Forster, and the film is set to be released in theaters on June 21, 2013.

Looking forward to this.

I'm already over that it's really not based on the book, just has the title. But I like the way it looks, it becomes a brand new story in that sense and it's getting decent to positive reviews.

They have to be saved.

They can't just be...

... left for dead, right? Left for dead... Left4Dead... eh eh eh... nice pun, wasn't it? Left4Dead... the chopper, the roof, 4 survivors trying to... well, survive!

This looks good. Bring on the zombies.

Zombies, PG13 hummm not sure bout that but looks o.k... i don't think Zombies and PG 13 mix well for me..

Zillaman "R" rating is death at the box office...they want to rake in 100's of millions on order to achieve that goal, they can't bar young folks from the theatres.

Trate is correct. One of the flaws of movies like this is...if they're planning a trilogy, we know going in that there can't be a final resolution in the first flick (However they might be able to kill off the Brad Pitt character since I can't imagine Pitt signing on for 3 Zombie movies).

This is one of the problems I have with movies about iconic super heroes, starship captains or others of that ilk...I hate knowing in advance what is going to happen, plus it's hard to build any kind of dramatic tension when you know there isn't any real threat to the hero...since he or she is scheduled to come back for sequels...this problem is amplified when the villain (or villains) is also an icon who can't be killed off.

Still this looks like will be nice to see Zombies that don't shuffle around (makes them a little scarier)...interesting how each movie about Vampires, Werewolves or Zombies twists the mythology to suit their story.
