THE WORLDS END: Official Domestic Trailer

New trailer for Wright's film

Here is the official domestic trailer for Edgar Wright’s The World’s End. I think it is funny that they only credit him with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. He did make Paul and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World since then. I guess they are trying to suck in the masses over the fan boys. Regardless, we will be there.

The Plot: Director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for a third film following the successes Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). In The World's End, 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub -- The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

The World's End features Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike.

The World's End arrives August 23, 2013.

I think it's because these three films are loosely connected.

Probably won't bother unless somebody else is treating

Liked the other two movies so I will probably like this

They probably aren't credting Edgar Wright with Paul since he had nothing to do with that movie.  Wright was making Scott Pilgrim at the same time that Nick Frost and Simon Pegg were filming Paul.

Also, this is supposed to complete the "unofficial" triliogy of films for the trio of Wright, Frost and Pegg.

I didn't think they were making a Hangover Pt. 4.
