Would Schwarzenegger be back for TERMINATOR 4?

A fourth TERMINATOR movie could be rolling in front of cameras as early as next year, reports today's Variety. T3 writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris have a screenplay draft that's ready to go and the film's producers, Mario Kassar and Andy Vajna, want to re-up RISE OF THE MACHINES helmer Jonathan Mostow to come back and do the fourth film. Intermedia, the film production and financing firm that assembled the mega-budgeted T3 project, is starting to draw the strings and work out how much they'll have to make the sequel.
Perhaps the most startling and biggest idea is a plan to seek Arnold Schwarzenegger to come back for a fourth time. Schwarzenegger currently has his hands full as the Governor of California but the early word is that the T4 production would have need of him in a reduced capacity and not as a major player, lending weight to the rumors that a new Terminator model will become the main villain and perhaps even the hero. Whether any of the surviving characters from T3 or their acting counterparts (Nick Stahl, Claire Danes) would be back in the new TERMINATOR hasn't been revealed.
