'Superman Returns' actor Brandon Routh says the Hollywood writers strike spells temporary kryptonite for the 'Man of Steel' sequel.
In speaking with ThisIsNorthScotland.co.uk Routh said that the new Superman film is, "supposed to be happening. They're going to be getting the script written here after the writer's strike, so we'll start next year some time."
However, Routh doesn't begrudge WGA writers their super-power play.
"All the more power to the writers, everybody wants their fair share but I just trust we can get it done quicker - sooner rather than later."
