Almost Human Delayed
Only 13 days

Without a production reason causing it’s delay, it looks as if football might be the reason for Almost Human getting pushed back nearly two weeks. Fox has announced the new sci-fi series by J.J. Abrams will now premiere on November 17th, instead of November 4th. Fox plans on rolling it out over consecutive nights. Which will include a Sunday premiere following an NFL doubleheader.
“Almost Human, which had been scheduled to move into the Bones slot on Mondays starting Nov. 4, will now debut at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 17. It will likely have a sizable lead-in that night, as FOX has an afternoon NFL doubleheader that will most likely run over into primetime. The show, a futuristic crime drama starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, will then make its time-period debut at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, with Sleepy Hollow staying put at 9 p.m.”.
Fox seems to have this problem every football season. The shows that genre and animation fans want to watch get lost in the shuffle of all mighty football. By this point you would think Fox would have a better game plan involved in the launching of new television shows.
