Here is the announcement trailer for the Batman: Arkham Knight. This is the follow up to last years highly successful game and the finale to the Arkham series.

Synopsis: In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman.

Batman: Arkham Knight is slated for 2014, but no official date has been given yet.

Yeah, I'd love this to be a movie. I don't know why they don't do a movie version of this as well with this kind of CG animation.

Not that it's a bad thing, but that batmobile looks like a combination of Burton's batmobile, the one from Batman Forever and the Tumbler.  It looks cool, but not really "unique."

So, the big question is...

Is Joker dead?!!?

BunyonSnipe 3/4/2014 3:37:28 PM

This is what I was hoping Beware The Batman was going to be...

Unfortunately it's only on next gen consoles. So no PS3 or 360, which sucks since Ijust got a PS3 and won't be getting a PS4 for a while.
