X-Men: Days of Future Past Viral Video

The Bent Bullet

X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives May 23, 2014.
Here is another viral video for X-Men: Days of Future Past. I find it strange that it was released a few days after the real events happened. Still though, it does provide an interesting backstory to the events that transpired between X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Synopsis: This latest chapter in 20th Century Fox's X-Men saga stars Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry and Daniel Cudmore. Singer is back behind the camera.
Plot Concept: The film is based on the comic book storyline "Days of Future Past," which ran in Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne's run and introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel's mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.

X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives May 23, 2014.

Very interesting.  Continuing in the vein of First Class blending real history with secret mutant history.

Ah, too soon Brian Singer......too soon (smh) :)

Again, looking forward to this film. I've liked pretty much everything I've heard and seen thus far. My one pet peeve remains that it's just too Wolverine centric

I'm kind of "whatever" about these films because they are too Wolverine centric. It's dampened my interest in them.

Pretty cool. I also like the idea that events seem to parallel real events.

I think the reason this was released after the memorial events is that it would have been too close to the real tragedy that the whole country was observing to squeeze in a comic book movie tease. Now that observances are over they can use it.

I also don't know if this viral teaser is something you can blame on Bryan Singer. It could very well be all the product of Fox's marketing campaign.

Interesting twist.

Definitely check out the viral site the video sends you to. (thebentbullet) It goes way deeper into this conspiracy than just this viral video. It's really cool.  From the site you get that Magneto says he's innocent and that Mystique actually killed JFK, which would be quite a leap for the character since we last saw her. You also find out how two villains from First Class died. Check it out. It's cool to be able to get some story that happens between the two films.

I like the viral site. just don't how touchy it is with some folks since this is the 50th anniversary of JFK's death.

For me, this was perfect timing. Strike while the iron is hot. Draw people in that you wouldn't normally attract. Good work Synger...for once.

Read the article in the home page and it's really cool, from what I read looks like Magneto and Mystique planned the assassination or that Mystique out of the death of Azazel and Tempest wanted revenge and Magneto tried to stop her in order not to start a mutant hunt, but one thing is clear Mystique was the shooter of both events, man that girl has issues.
