Xbox SITH LORDS coming next year

Officially, the game doesn't even exist yet. Still, if you were to take a visit to the offices of video game developer Obsidian Entertainment and look around, you would soon find out that work on a sequel to the best-selling Xbox title KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC is very much underway. Lucasfilm hasn't announced KOTOR 2 and may have been hoping to make the announcement at next month's gaming industry convention, E3.

However, that hasn't stopped Electronic Gaming Monthly from releasing its latest issue which so happens to feature a seven-page preview of KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 2: THE SITH LORDS. Taking place five years after the conclusion of the first KNIGHTS, in the wake of the Jedi civil war, you are the last Jedi Knight known to exist, hunted by evil Sith across the galaxy, watching the crumbling Old Republic fall apart into chaos. As was the case with the first KOTOR, the gamer will be able to choose from the light or dark side path and the decisions they make will affect the game's outcome.

According to the EGM article, THE SITH LORDS is currently scheduled for a February 2005 release. When LucasArts finally drops the shoe and makes an official announcement about the game we'll be there to tell you of it.
