I know Hugh Jackman has said in a recent interview he would love for Wolverine to show up in The Avengers. He said he talked to the head Marvel guy (Kevin Feige?) and they said it would be difficult. But Jackman countered that all they should do is work out a deal where every studio shares billing, responsibility, and profit. He really wants to see the X-men and Avengers together.

This seems to make sense with the title of "Days of Future Past." Will there be a set up in that movie for the X-Force film, if even some subtle hints that will be expanded in the next movie? Keep them coming. I am sure it will piss off many pure-marvel types... but, I will buy my ticket.

I'm a pure-marvel type, but like you, I will be there at midnight for every movie they put out, hoping for the best.  I take each movie for what its worth.  Yeah, FOX will rape the source material, but they have put out some good X-Men movies.

My only concern, is that they are trying to compete with Marvel and the way they have a unified universe.  FOX in my opinion (Just Like DC/WB) just has no idea how to do it properly.

In spite of Fox still holding the rights to all things X-Men, I will pray that someone will give us a worthy X-FORCE move. Would love to see Cable and Domino up on the big screen!

 Agreed, Kinetoscope.

This is logical after the events of "Days of Future Past". FOX seems to be planning a solid strategy for their ongoing years with the X-Men franchise.

All this is moot if DoFP bombs. An indication of that would be if The Wolverine bombs.

I tried to post this earlier, but it didn't work for some reason. Stephen Lang needs to play Cable. He was the Colonel in charge in Avatar and the Commander in charge on Terra Nova. He looks exactly like him. There was an interview a while back where someone asked him about it and he said he would do it. Now that this movie is actually happening and since he has a good working relationship with Fox, he should throw his name in the hat. Google him and there are even some photos comparing him to Cable.

Wesley@ That is actually a great casting choice.

Back in the day, I always thought that Brian Denehy would be a good fit for him.  That old, rough guy look.  Of couse, now I don't think he is even alive.

I preferred the newer team headlined by Wolfsbane, Wolverine, Warpath, Archangel, Domino, Psylocke,  and X-23. Grittier assassin squad.

Was never a huge fan of Boomer, Cannonball, etc.

Cable would be cool if they did the background story for him (son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor - raised by Askani in the future). A Cable one-shot flick as a precursor for this flick would be a great strategy.

Eldogg, Warpath is the brother of Thunderbird who died in the beginning of The All-New Uncanny X-Men. Warpath has been around for a long time in the comics and has been a major member in the X-Men and X-Force.I stopped collecting like 4 years ago, so unless he's died in the last 4 years in the comics, I believe Warpath has always been alive and well.
