20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios and MTV Movies have provided some X-Men: First Class character trailers for Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Havok (Lucas Till) and Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones). Watch them in the video players down below and sound off with your thoughts. Also expect more character trailers to hit soon.
The origin tale also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, Edi Gathegi, Bill Bilner, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily and Zoe Kravitz. Helmer Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake) led from the director's chair, based on a screenplay by Josh Schwartz, Jamie Moss, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Jane Goldman.
Plot Concept: "X-Men: First Class" charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

Looks ever increasingky awesome to me! Just accept that it is an alternate reality X-Men and you'll love it. It's not the 616, man I've been sayin that for years but the haters won't listen
Yeah, messing up characters and continuity aside, it does look like a much better entry into the X-Men movie universe than Wolverine was. I caught myself the other day nitpicking the fact that White Queen was in this one as a young girl in the 60's when she was already in Wolverine...then I remembered what a piece of CRAP Wolverine was, and how I'd just as soon forget it anyway. Yeah, these previews look pretty cool. But so did the previews with Deadpool, The Merc With a Mouth...well, while he HAD A F***ING MOUTH ANYWAY. God that movie was awful.
IF you guys want to find a reason to complain about this movie, think about the f-ed up continuity between Wolverine Origins and this movie. Prof X had no hair when he picked up the mutants at the end od W-Origins... mutants which included a 15 year old Emma Frost??? who is now an adult 10 years earlier??? Thats a valid complaint about the continuity of the series. It's not a whining "Why doesn't Hank love Trish Tilby?"

Also I think it was the 70's when Emma Frost was 15... Now in the 60's she's HOTHOTHOT (I Like January Jones) 20's
These are pretty sweet character spots. I'm getting to the point where I'm seeing too much though. I just want to see this film already.
I didnt realize it was Nicholas Hoult playing Beast....this kid is amazing and will be a start someday. He is huge over in the UK and if you have never seen the original 2 seasons with the original cast of CH4's Skins, you are missing out.
I will check it out just for his performance....still not high hopes for the movie though.
Looks cool. I really like the feel of the film. Still wish we were watching character trailers for something like Prof X teaching Iceman to build his ice bridges and etc, which would look badass in this Vaughn style. What a damn shame.... hehe
I think this looks GREAT!!! I've liked the concept from the beginning.

Ok...I've been hating this movie since it was announced. Mostly due to the fact that it takes place in the messed up continuity of the Fox X-men universe.
But I have to admit, I really love these teasers. So well done.
You kind of wonder how Matthew Vaughn would have done with X3 or even an X-men Origins reboot (5 original X-men)
