Doomsday Entering SMALLVILLE, Luthor Departs - May 02, 2008 - 05:40am
First, hate seeing Michael leave, as i've always loved his portrayal of the young Lex. Second, Doomsday on small is a VERY bad BAD idea. It was bad enough that the story of the Death of Superman was as bad as it was in the animated movie they made, I can only guess at how bad it is going to come across with Doomsday on Smallville. Will I be watching? Yea. Am i fully expecting to be cussing at my tv screen next season? yup. Most of season 7 wasn't all that good. Season 8's only chance is if they get some better storytelling going again, adn the Doomsday angle just really doesn't give much hope.

Universal Unleases New HD HULK Trailer - May 02, 2008 - 05:28am
As several others have touched on regarding the CGI, the apparent lack of mass is a major problem. Even if you have the PERFECT looking render, if it doesn't move like our minds think it should, it's something that takes you out of the movie. It's the subtle movements and tendencies that seem to really get overlooked in alot of movies when they try and do CGI on a major "character." Good example of subtle, yet realistic movements used in a movie: Godzilla (american version). While not alot of people liked this movie, the background story had godzilla evolving from a mutation on an iguana. The people doing the cgi did a FANTASTIC job of referencing how iguanas move and crawl etc. and adding that subtle texture to the movie. It's something that doesn't necessarily make the movie "better" but at least more "believable." It's already a stretch for some people to see a 9 ft. tall green monster running around, so if his movements don't have some subtle q's and mass to them, it really does derail that "believability" aspect. But again, still could lack in the cgi and be a good movie.
