hahahaha (are you being sarcastic or for real?) who told you SUPERMAN RETURNS was an epic success? it pleased some critics who had a hard on for the donner/reeve superman, it pleased some women (including the gay community), but it was hardly a Superman movie. All it ever was, was a weepy wee-wee-ass soap opera with a Superman that is not capable of ACTION (& to think Superman came out of a comicbook known as ACTION COMICS---he didnt come out of a comic entitled SUPERHERO ROMANCE) IF it was an epic success.... - why the urge from the studio itself to exert extra effort to look for a new writing team? - they should have announced a sequel, probably should be in pre-production by now

there are people who loved Howard the Duck. There are people who loved Phantom Menace, & there are people who loved Superman Returns. Nothing wrong with that. Good or bad, Superman Returns was 2 things: - It was NOT faithful to the source material - It was just a photocopy of Donner's Superman With all the development that has been going on in the Superman Returns project, it only proves that it has had a failure wherein which there is a great demand for a major overhaul. The outcry is far more greater than its fans would like to think.

Excellent points from Noveck. Although I initially thought its a bad idea & have always thought that a JL live-action feature would not work, I now do have some positive sense of anticipation for this project. If the supposed spoiler news about the JL movie synopsis had some truth in it, I think it would be a successful movie.

i loved all three movies BUT i'd like it to close down now on the third i want it to stay as the trilogy that it is just like SAW, a fourth Bourne movie runs the risk of ruining the reputation of the Bourne movies a fourth Bourne movie would be utterly needless... ...maybe not unless he dies in the end

faithfully adapting the 30s/40s SHADOW would be good... but it might come off as Dick Tracy-ish or Batman-ish. Personally, i prefer the SHADOW comicbook series version made by DC comics around the 1990s. In my opinion, that would make a cool movie, coz Shadow makes good use of his "minions" & not just have them as minor sidekicks

me too, swansong... it pisses me off as well... no wonder piracy is kicking their ass here in southeast asia. mckracken, thatz right. BUT EVEN if they split em up for losses in the theatrical run, what's a little disc space for the rest of the trailers that swansong was talking about... that's like, what, 200 mb of video file space? they do that in all of the big movie dvds... well, most anyway... after you all have bought the dvds.... just when you thought its the "special double-disc edition"... months later, they release an ultimate edition, a 1.5, a 2.5, a director's cut... some of them are NOT even really special enough to be put on ANOTHER dvd edition... they could have been with the first double disc edition dvd sucks, doesn't it?

vampires & the future... and vampirism as a virus... and vampires with guns, kung-fu and matrix-y clothes...ARRRRGH!!!! i cant stand it anymore! this genre is overused too much... and within just a short timespan. you have one coming out this month, then 2 months from now, another one comes out...... ethan hawke is, i think, one of the more smarter actors out there. i just hope that his opinion is right on the money. but i still wish they would give up recycling the "vampires in the future" formula. its sickening. i

talking about the WONDER TWINS, REALLY is NOT the way to go with the marketing of this movie. The present fame of the Justice League is due to the fact that the animated TV series was so true to the comics. they never resorted to cheap childish tricks that the Superfriends cartoons did. & this was what made that TV series phenomenal. The case of JL is really like how the Batman franchise was. Sure, the Wonder Twins may be just a bit of less-than-a-minute joke. But letting that bit of news just ruins the whole project. People will start to think that this is going back to the STUPID Superfriends days, which WILL DEFINITELY KILL this franchise before it even starts

actually, the Punisher was not soft. i loved how violent it was... many wuss critics even hate the movie because they thought it was too violent. but i thought the movie executed just the right amount of violence for a decent Punisher movie. In the movie, the Punisher employed a vengeance which has a deeper impact than just killing. without the bloody aspect, it was already a ruthless and a very cold execution of vengeance. What Castle did to Saint was more torturous than if he just went up to him and kill him. about the Ghost Rider poster... it looks like just a fragment of an older poster of the movie
