Yes Static uses a sewer grate, trash can top, or a retractable metal disc to fly around on.

"...issue..."  Looks like you're thinking comics! I liked that they basically made their own Superfriends homage, and that we got the Blue Beetle reveal.

I felt that something was really off with Green Beetle, especially when he links minds with Miss Martian. He sounded sinister. I wonder if Blue Beetle's actually fully controlled, though.

Dang, did I say Issue? I do that all the time. And when talking comics, I'll say episode. Blorch.

Yeah, the way that they don't show Miss Martian and GB mind-linking and then she just says "he's good" or something...very shady.

Thanks @Goldeneyez, I was only really familiar with the metal disc thing

Yeah, in the comics, Static used a trash lid or whatever to float on. In the cartoon he had a portable, more sophisticated disc to fly on.

Can anybody confirm who the bald headed kid who set off the alarm to keep the Runaways from ... well, running away ... was supposed to be?  I thought maybe Damage, but I don't really know enough about the character to be able to identify any obvious clues.

I don't think he's supposed to be anyone. I've never checked his name, though. It's a possibility he could be Damage.

The character's name is Neutron.  According to all things "reliable", wikipedia says he's one of Superman's main foes.  He was seen earlier on when Impulse was introduced in this series.  I wonder how many episodes are left in the series since they are cancelling the show?

Miss Martian cleared Green Beetle but only because she half-assed it.  She was still reticent to use any telepathy so Green offered to volunteer info.  Miss M only saw what he chose to show her and that was good enough for her.  She didn't go in, much less deep enough to really verify if what she was seeing was the truth or what the also telepathic other martian wanted her to see.

As for Blue, with the former state of the scarab being a malfunction, the night and day arguing between Jaime and his scarab may not be the current state of things.  The scarab completely in control may be so integrated that the scarab can easily maintain Jaime's normal behavior in most situations to maintain his host's cover while at the same time being able to cut loose and do the things he tried so hard to influence Jaime to do previously without having to fight with him now.

Though I imagine when the scarab chooses to do something dramatically against the wishes of what Jaime would do for the purposes of narrative there will be some token struggle there.
