We may have another ninja poised to join Jon Chu's G.I. Joe sequel. The Hollywood Reporter says that actress Elodie Yung is in talks to become the Joe operative Jinx in the Paramount Pictures production which is slated to arrive in theaters next summer.

The news comes just a few days after Dwayne Johnson entered discussions to become Roadblock. The original's stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Lee Byung-hun are likewise expected to return to the roles of Duke, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, respectively.

Yung has some experience in the action genre, having battled corrupt cops in District 13: Ultimatum (watch her in action down below) and will next been seen in David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Based on the classic Joe series, Jinx was an intelligence clerk who traveled to Japan and found out her family had been ninjas for generations. After being initiated into a clan as well, she was later recruited for the Joe team by Snake Eyes.

I loved the first District B13, but I have to admit,,,,the sequel sucked..the first one was good because the guy who directed Taken and From Paris With Love directed it...but that's not what this aritcle is about,,,,I am in the total minority and loved the first G.I. Joe movie, so i am pumped to see another one. I love Sommers movies, but he does have a nack for going over the top, so I am curious to see what a more grounded director can bring to it.

Ditch Tatum and I might actually consider thinking about possibly pondering the idea of perhaps seeing this eventually  someday maybe.

LOL, are you trying to say you're on the fence then cause from here it sounds like you're 2 miles off on the opposite side. The first Joe film was tons of fun for me, I'm looking forward to the sequel

Tatum was fine. Jeez who cares nobody's gonna win any awards for these movies. It's about fun and games good times. lol They are popcorn flicks nothing more nothing less. I get a kick out of em since i was a huge Joe Fan when i was a kid watching the cartoons.

I just wanna see more cobra commander and i wish they used his hood. But o well i guess its too KKK for today's audience being a bunch of dam candy azzes.

No idea who this girl is. Since i can't see youtube videos at work  - I won't know she is. But I am in no hurry for a new GI Joe movie, so they cn take their sweet time making this.

yeah it was a fun movie even with all of the changes from the source material, which is very common .

Agreeing with Whiskeymovie on this one, The movie this clip is from (District 13: Ultimatum) was a let down compared to the first one, though nowhere near as bad as G.I. Joe! If you want to see a kick as$ movie, then hunt you down a copy of District B13! Real action, no wires or fake greenscreen CGI crap! Totally AMAZING! If only Hollywood would make us a superhero/comicbook movie like this!!
