We may have another ninja poised to join Jon Chu's G.I. Joe sequel. The Hollywood Reporter says that actress Elodie Yung is in talks to become the Joe operative Jinx in the Paramount Pictures production which is slated to arrive in theaters next summer.
The news comes just a few days after Dwayne Johnson entered discussions to become Roadblock. The original's stars Channing Tatum, Ray Park and Lee Byung-hun are likewise expected to return to the roles of Duke, Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, respectively.
Yung has some experience in the action genre, having battled corrupt cops in District 13: Ultimatum (watch her in action down below) and will next been seen in David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Based on the classic Joe series, Jinx was an intelligence clerk who traveled to Japan and found out her family had been ninjas for generations. After being initiated into a clan as well, she was later recruited for the Joe team by Snake Eyes.
