With the announcement that Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is off to college next season on NBC's "Heroes," the show's producers have tapped a co-star to chew up some screen time with the invincible cheerleader.
Madeline Zima ("Californication") signed for a recurring role on the NBC series, which will air on Monday nights this fall at a new time in the 8-9 PM ET/PT hour.
HR reports in a multi-episode arc she will play Gretchen, an edgy quirky outsider and college roommate to Claire.
