LOL In nolan I trust wiseguy- I actually think this will be received well. Hans has done a good job with the first 2 bat-films and I have no doubt he will meet or surpas expectations with the 3rd.

With as much as there's been lately with all things Batman over The Dark Knight Rises, there's something to be said about those who have a sense of humor about it. Case in point is Hans Zimmer who was cornered into talking about the film that he'll be scoring. With as little known about it as there is at this point, when asked about how many notes he's gotten down so far, he laughs and responds with, "Ugh. No, no, no, no."
Some things are a bit too early to talk about, particularly with the script still kept from almost everyone including the majority of the actors, and Zimmer has some fun with it. But there are also a couple of potential teases in there as MTV News nudges him a little further on things.
"The one thing I can tell you is that it's going to be a lot more epic. Extraordinarily epic."
As for what that means?
"I don't know, it's like, 'What's epic these days?' I think there's something in the core of the story that allows you to get the music much bigger and much more sort of, iconic," he ventured.
With his work on the first two features, there's little doubt that he'll be reworking and using familiar themes while building and adding on new aspects to them and other characters.

Zimmer's become on of my favorite movie composers since John Williams. The first 3 Pirate movies, Gladiator, the current incarnation of Batman. Good stuff.
Maybe I'll go to the theater with a blindfold on and just listen to the score
