Zoe Bell Leads in Action Flick

It was only a matter of time before stuntwoman turned actress, Zoe Bell, made her way into a leading role in Hollywood. The New Zealand native Bell has been behind the scenes for a few years now but her role in DEATH PROOF (as herself) gained her some notice from Marco Weber's Senator Entertainment for an upcoming action flick. She'll be leading the cast for the production company and Weber. The action flick is as of yet untitled based on an idea from Weber and a Sarah Thorpe script.

Plot Summary: Bell will play a U.S. soldier adrift after returning home from a tour of duty in Iraq who decides to help a young girl in trouble.

Zoe Bell worked behind the scenes as Uma Thurman's stunt double in the KILL BILL films and a double for Lucy Lawless in XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS.

Here's hoping she can hide that accent. She was good in Death Proof though. One of the few good things about that film

I really liked her in Death Proof. It was one of those times when I rushed home to look up who she was on IMDB immediately after seeing the movie. I was surprised to see she's a stunt person, and thought it was nice of Tarantino to give her some exposure.

I do not know what it is about Tarantino, but he has knack for picking out excellent actors and actresses for his roles...He brought back Travolta, put Uma on the map, hell the list could go on.

I found this girl extremely entertaining and am happy to see her gettting some exposure like Snally pointed out...

Still not to sure about the story...I guess we will just have to wait to find out more...

She was actually pretty good in Death Proof...the side of Grindhouse I could stand.
